Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on 5 February, 1964. Linney is an American actor who is well-known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are fragile. Linney was born into a family of actors her father was the playwright, Romulus Linney. Linney graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. Then she earned an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway and was awarded awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
