Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American TV and film actress. The actress Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has worked professionally for the past 27 years. She began her career in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production of The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The following year, she was offered her first television role, The Perfect Tribute. Her biggest break in her career came about in the year 1992, when she was a character in the film Basic Instinct. The Firm marked her first performance as a leading female actress, opposite Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, her work was a collaboration with Hollywood's top actors such as Gwyneth on Sliding doors, Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews Relative Values. Recently she played Dr Alex Blake in the internationally popular police procedural crime drama Criminal Minds.
